GIVING FOR THE HOLIDAYS!

Over the years, I've learned that one key thing to do to stay in balance is giving, and although we should do this year 'round, the holidays are the perfect time to give, while incorporating all of your family members! This year, my husband, son, mom and I will be volunteering at Metropolitan Ministries' Holiday Tent, and I'm so excited! This will be our little one's second time volunteering for Thanksgiving, and we hope that it helps to extend a more caring and empathetic spirit in him. It also reminds us that there is so much for all of us to be grateful for!

As more and more people have a need these holidays, I know there's something that we can do to help, both as a family and as a community.

Michelle Obama is sharing her rules for finding Mr. Right.
For starters: Looks aren't everything.

"Cute's good," the First Lady tells the new issue Glamour magazine, out November 10. "But cute only lasts for so long, and then it's, 'Who are you as a person?'"

According to Mrs. O, women shouldn't be concerned with the "bankbook" or "the title," but instead focus on the heart and soul of the person they're interested in.

"You should always feel good," Obama says.

Obama, who is the covergirl of Glamour's December issue, donned a stunning bright red dress for shoot and is shown with her hair pulled back in a sleek look.
